This tube is available in Extended, Long range, mid range, and short range. Patternmaster extended chokes are designed to be used with the 3 1/2" shells for maximum pattern and density. The difference between the Patternmaster Extended chokes and Patternmaster Standard/Long Range is the length. Patternmaster concept is that the "studs" inside the choke grabs the base of the wad as it passes through while the front of the wad is flush with the front of the tube. Since the wad is longer in the 3 1/2" shells we have made the tube longer to maintain a tight, dense pattern. The same concept is true in reverse for the short range tubes. The pattern may be too tight with the extended or long range tube so we have trimmed the choke back toward the "stud" ring to allow for the wad to extend past the end of the tube. This will open the pattern and reduce the impact. Available in Black or Stainless steel color. This choke interchanges with the Super Black Eagle II, Benelli M2-S90, and Beretta Extrema, Extrema II, Optima and Optima Plus.
